Not much time for birding lately but Ashbridges is a quick and easy in and out. The inner harbor is still mostly ice but a few good ducks can still be found. I spotted this pair of Ring-necked Ducks while standing by the boat ramps. They were quite far out near the entrance to the bay, so I only have this crappy photo for evidence. Maybe they'll stick around for a bit for anyone who can't make it all the way to Col. Sam's. Also enjoyed my first Killdeer of the season, and the crazy swimming groundhog I posted under wildlife. - kris
