As of Saturday, momma Peregrine Falcon O'Conner, at the Etobicoke Sunlife nest site (Islington and Bloor), has layed 2 eggs. We expect 2 more this week but you never know. You can watch the action on live cam (pics uploaded every 30 seconds I believe) via this link...

By early June the fledge watch should be in full swing. We are always hoping for some others to come join the watch, spend an hour, spend an afternoon, whatever. Believe me, it is addicting hanging out with a bunch of baby Falcons 20 stories up. Knowing their names, observing them, identifying them by the color tape bands and watching them grow, watch them take their first flights which in most cases ended up needing rescue from the busy streets below. Many hours of nothing, then all hell breaks loose in an instant. It's always nice to share the experience with other good bird people.
