Was a beautiful day today along the shores of lake Erie
I visited two locations today
Gravelly Bay in Port Colborne was teeming with water fowl. Hundreds of Tundra Swans along with Geese and a large amount of assorted ducks that included
Buffleheads & Ring necks and hundreds of Ring bill gulls
I moved East to a small park Along the shore of lake Erie, Centennial Park.. It is heavily wooded with large oaks and maples.. I immediately spot A Redheaded wood pecker then there were two. I followed the sounds of some birds near a summer cottage and found White breasted nuthatches, Junkos and a Tufted Titmouse:!: Chickadee's as well.. I probable spent and hour there waiting for another glimpse of the Titmouse.. I watched the Redheaded woodpeckers for the most part.
I was scolded at by a tiny little wren as I was leaving to go back to my vehicle

Congratulations on finally getting your titmouse. So, what is your next "need it"?

Haven't quite thought about it yet
I am a raptor nut and I have nay spotted a Merlin..Maybe.. ?
I dunno
Tell you what, spotting a Red headed woodpecker and a titmouse within a 100 feet of each other really made my day and maybe more than that..
Both were life list items for me:))
