Outside Barrie this afternoon and noticed a group of ringbilled gulls in a plowed field. This larger gull was standing and so I took a few pics. It has black wings with the white tips. Pretty cool if it is. This far north at this time of year.

From the photographs I can't tell whether the gull has pink or yellow legs. I would look at it and just assume that it was a Great Black-backed Gull, which is far more common than the accidental Kelp Gull.

darn it. I have a feeling you're right. Rookie mistake.
