Title: RE goldfinches

i just put up a niger and a black oil sunflower seed feeders can i expect goldfinches to find it

Don't get your hopes up that birds will instantly flock to your feeder.  The birds have been getting used to their feeding areas and didn't find yours earlier so they don't know that it is a good source of niger and black oil sunflower seeds.  But don't worry.  They will find it. Eventually.
