I live in the Kingston area and this is the first winter that I have not come across a NSWO in our area. Snowy owls coming out of my ears mind you  :o

Hah tell me about it!  When you see a Snowy at one of Toronto's biggest malls (Yorkdale), you know that it's an unusual year.  

Nice pics Mama Zee, especially the 2nd one.  In that picture you can see why the Chinese call these creatures the Cat-faced Eagle or Cat-faced Hawk.  :D

That second shot is so different from the usual Saw Whet  photos you normally see.
