Was out and about yesterday when I saw these two in a large farm field about 50m away so I parked a the side of the road to watch. She was "leading-him-on" and he was following behind and every few meters he would "strut-his-stuff" which she pretended to ignore. Eventually they had walked right up to the fence line at the side of the road right opposite where I was parked apparently too intent on their courtship to notice me. Never have I been so close to the shy and skittish birds.
