After what seams like forever, I finally have some flicker pictures I am happy with.

Lovely Shots. How did you manage to get close enough to take these shots? They seem to be very skittish.

I think the birds may be nesting in this tree.  I found a spot beneath that gave me a clear shot and then waited.  Patience and a long lens seam to be the key, as soon as they see you move they tend to take off.  There were 5 or 6 of them making a lot of noise in the area, but I only managed good pictures of the one.
