Here are a couple of quick shots I managed to get yesterday morning at Rosetta McClain Gardens.

Nice Walter.

Is the Carolina finally cooperating or did you get the quick shot before it dove down behind the cliff?

Very nice Walter. Am I correct in assuming they were shot with the SX50? Slightly off topic - are the Rosetta restrooms open yet?

Hey Paul,
The last two times that I've been to the park the Wrens have been pretty cooperative.  Last week I was sitting on Frank's bench and what I believe was the male and female popped up from down below and sat on a branch together at the edge of the bluffs and sang away.  I was too tired to run over to the fence to try and photograph them.  On Thursday when Terry and I were there the male popped up a few times and sang from the shrubs that are just out over the bluffs in front of the big Maple tree where we do the Hawk Watching.

Hey Howie,
Yes, you are correct my friend - SX50 all the way!  Wonderful camera!  A little touch-up work was done using Picasa I must admit and resized using MS Paint.  I believe the washrooms are open all the time now as there are several park workers around now.

Walter :)

Thanks Walter, I hope to get down there sometime next week. In the meantime I'll just sit in the backyard and practice my SX50 technique using the white throated sparrows that are hopping around all over the place! :)
