Title: Small Bird

I saw this bird the other day, I have no idea what it is.  I looked through my Stokes field guide and my National Geographic field guide to the birds of North America.  It was very small, not much bigger than a golf ball.

Winter Wren. The fact that you described it as a golf ball is a good indication of this species - they are pretty much a golf ball with legs, a beak, wings and a tiny tail!
