I walked from Brickworks Park south to Gerrard Street along the river yesterday evening. It was fairly quiet but most of the usual early migrants were present.
Some interesting sightings:
Bald Eagle (2)- Adult and 1st/2nd year immature flying north along the Don River.
Greater Yellowlegs (2), Solitary Sandpiper (1), Spotted Sandpiper (1)- Feeding in an area with exposed mud just north of the Bloor-Danforth line.
Northern Waterthrush (1)- Foraging on the ground inside a flooded fenced-off area at the bottom of Riverdale Farm.
