Title: Harlequin duck - Humber Bay Park
Post by: tellin on January 05, 2008, 08:37:36 PM
At 1:30 pm we watched a male and female harlequin duck close to shore at Humber Bay park, western lakeshore, for about 20 minutes. They were directly south of the washrooms. A northern shrike was also seen.

western lakeshore? i wasn't aware there were bathrooms on the west side!!! i am only aware of the washrooms on the east side of the park...
i'll have to keep a lookout for this pair!

I saw a female at the western most point of the west park.

I didn't know what I was looking at but I took good notes and figured it out well after I got home!

Being a novice is full of pleasant surprises.

I meant the park is on the western lakeshore, not the washrooms.
