Both of these sparrows were found at Col Sam on the weekend.
The first by me and the second by my gf.
1. Savannah?

First one looks good for a vesper. Always a nice find!
The second is a white-throated sparrow.
Cheers

Agree on both. I had a Vesper Sparrow there on Saturday as well. I chased him for about 150 metres trying to get a decent look. Finally had to rely on a photo because I never did see him well with bins.

Thanks guys! Much to learn have I!
The Vesper is a lifer and for some reason the White-throated had me totally fooled!
