Title: Downsview Sightings
Post by: Dinusaur on May 08, 2014, 11:56:11 PM
Today I spent about an hour at Downsview Park during my lunch break - mostly around the woodlot area and also near the pond. Saw a few new arrivals there including an Eastern Kingbird, a pair of Baltimore Oriole (lifer for me) and close to hundred white-crowned sparrows. Interestingly, around 6 PM I also noticed 4 white-crowned at my backyard. I guess their arrivals here are peaking right about now. The woodlot area was filled with beautiful Oriole song.
