This looks like a Belding's savannah sparrow to us but if so it's way out of range (Mississauga). Or is it a darker northern form? Any ID guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like a pretty normal Savannah Sparrow to me.

Thanks for the input. It's good to know there is someplace we can go as beginning birders.
