Woo Hoo! :D
Hi everyone. My mom is visiting today and we were out walking at Lake Aquitaine, Plowman's Park and Lake Wabukayne from 10am - 12:30pm. Lots of birds, butterfly, rabbit and turtle! (more about all these later)
Around 12 noon, 2 male Scarlet Tanagers out in the open for quite awhile at North side of Lake Wabukayne. This is the first time my mom has ever seen one of these birds! Saw some photographers walking in from Montevideo Rd. along trail across the street from Linden Plaza. This is the area that I refer to as Bird Alley. 8) I told them the what & where - hope they had luck finding and getting photos of these gorgeous birds!
Lake Wabukayne: NW corner of Glen Erin Dr. & Windwood Dr., behind condo and school.
