Having a bit of trouble with these two from my walk today. The first one I think is a female Black-throated Blue warbler but the only photo I see of it describes it as a first fall female.

The second I believe to be a female American Redstart, but again the photos I see don't have the black between bill and eyes. Just an individual variation maybe?

Any comments, explanations or tips on IDing either of these birds would be appreciated as always.
I just want to put in an extra thanks to the 'senior' members of this group who assist with the IDing of birds for those of us with less experience.

You are correct with the first one. The white wing spot is diagnostic.
The second bird is an American Redstart. It appears to be a first year male. They are more orange where a female would be yellow and often have random bits of black.
