This morning we saw a shrike in the oak trees near the edge of Grenadier Pond in High Park. [near the stone walls] It's the first time I've seen one inside the park. [I assume it was a northern shrike since it stayed high up in the trees and it flew with an undulating pattern but as they say "it's tough to tell a loggerhead from a northern shirke in the winter months"]
