Title: Red-necked Grebe Chicks
Post by: Brian Bailey on May 28, 2014, 10:05:00 PM
I was low on light when I shot these on Monday evening, but you get the idea anyway:

After a while, I decided the best way to capture this was video.  I got all four chicks and the one chick finally managing to swallow that minnow in the second image image after trying for several minutes.  https://flic.kr/p/nKx1C6

great job Brian, you captured some sweet moments.
The size of the fish that little one is getting at the beginning of the video is huge!! I didn't think he'd get it down, it's almost as big as the Grebe.

In the video the adult stand up and out pops 3 more babies! I rather enjoyed that part.
