Title: Name Change

I've finally decided to "bite-the-bullet" and retire my original screen name, "Trillian Flummox". Since you cannot actually change the name on your existing account, I have registered a new account under my real name Kris Ito. When I originally signed up for these forums, I simply followed the safety rules I had been teaching my children - never use your real name on the internet! But since I am not actually a kid, it didn't take long for me to regret the decision. So from now on you'll find my posts under "Kris Ito".

p.s.  For those who may have wondered, Trillian Flummox was inspired by characters from "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and Dr. Seuss.

Actually, I've been contemplating on doing the exact same thing and freeing myself of this mask I've been hiding behind.  Maybe now is that time.

Ooooooh maybe we'll start a trend. I do know some experienced birders who feel that our forums have less credibility when we don't use our real names. But at the same time, I also know there are many reasons why it is not practical for some of us to do so, particularly if your internet activity affects your business. So, no pressure!  8)

Don't mean to spoil the party but you can actually change your board screen name.  I did so recently by sending a request to a board admin.  Now don't all do it all at once as I'm sure they could get inundated with requests and they're gonna come after me I'm sure  :P   But yeah it is possible.

That's funny. I guess I've just been told by various people over the last couple of years that it couldn't be done - didn't even occur to me to ask the powers that be first!   :P

I had Andy change my user name from hoodlum. All my old posts were updated with my new user name.

I still see Rotarran so where's the change?
BTW, any special significance to Rotarran or is it just narrator spelled backwards?
