My guess is : Least Sandpiper, White-rumped Sandpiper or Baird's Sandpiper,
of course I can be wrong.
They are very similar.
Please help.

I think I would rule out Baird's especially in the top pic as the wings do not extend out past the tail. The legs are hard to distinguish in the water, but I do not think they are Least's. There does seem to be some streaking down the flanks, I am more inclined to lean towards White-rumped Sandpiper. Tough to get relative size to other peeps.

Why not Semipalmated on these? Bill and wing looks shorter in the top picture compared to the other peep (Paul O'Toole's picture) we discussed.

You may be correct, I am not 100 % on either.

Do you have any pictures that show the number on the leg flag?

Thanks everybody for the replys.
Yes, I have a picture showing the number on the leg flag.
Unfortunately - I have a problem with my memory card ... rather complicated story...
