Title: Wigeon
Post by: jandb on June 01, 2014, 06:43:15 PM
Looks like Eurasian, but would be an unlikely sighting in Northern Ontario.  Anyone care to confirm?  Thanks so much!

Nice find! There are a lot more reports from southern Ontario, but they have been found in the north as well.  Where was this?

Never mind, I just saw your report come up on my eBird alerts.  Interesting that there was one sighted just a few days earlier in Rouyn-Noranda http://ebird.org/ebird/qc/view/checklist?subID=S18601504

Actually entertained the idea it was the same bird from Rouyn.  Not that rare I imagine.  It was not relocated the next day.
