Title: Don Valley - Sunday June 15
Post by: nkwali on June 16, 2014, 08:54:15 AM
I went for a short walk down in the Don Valley by Redway and the sewage treatment plant Sunday afternoon.
Came across:

Northern mockingbird - great views of this one on the fence around the sewage treatment plant
RWBB
yellow warbler (2)
American goldfinch
wood duck
GBH

And in my neighbourhood (Danforth/Donlands) - first time I've seen cedar waxwings in the area

there are LOTS of waxwings north of the danforth this year, but always high up in the trees. that's probably what i hear most often. more than robins, and almost as much as house sparrows
