We were driving down Broadview at about 9:00 last night when a red fox ran across the street, heading into Riverdale park. This is the closest to home I've seen one, although I've seen them elsewhere in Toronto. It looked gorgeous.

One of the neatest sights I've ever experienced was a red fox walking on a clear sheet of ice on lake ontario (in Port Credit) in winter...it was about 200 m out...looked like it was walking on water.
