The shape says "flycatcher" to me, but the markings are a puzzle.  Maybe a juvenile Great Crested Flycatcher?

It's an Empidonax Flycatcher. Note orange lower mandible of the bill and wing bars. Probably Willow Flycatcher as it lacks eye-ring. Strange to see it on the ground like that.

Thank you. Didn't think of flycatcher. Many Chipping sparrows, Chickadees and Titmice also on and off the ground.
