Excellent shots!
Can't understand why you're not happy.

Great colours and detail! But yeah they are hard to get close to. One time I got really close to one but I didn't even notice it until I was almost on top of it. He must not have noticed me either otherwise I would never have gotten any pics of him.

You want to get it feeding out of your hand? :D
-
Lucky you. The closest spot I can reach is 100 feet.:-)
-
Excellent shots. I don't see what your complaint is.
You did'nt try the dives or fishing considering how close you were?
-
Great shots Meghan. :D

Excellent shots, but I know how you feel. I have been trying to get a great Kingfisher shot for years. I have lots of good ones, but I still don't have the one I want. The best luck I have had was sitting in my friends boat and drifting towards the shore, they seam to let you get closer when you aren't approaching from the land.

She is beautiful, though.
