For those who haven't seen it and thought they'd missed it, the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron is still present in the pond at Sam Smith Park.

It was still there at noon Wednesday Sept 3 also.

Found it today at 10:30. I watched it sleeping in a tree directly across from the viewing platform. Looking at recent posts on ebird and ontbird, as well as chatting with other birders, it sounds like it is moving around more now and is sometimes seen along the edge of the marina. -kris
