Title: Least Bittern at Col Sam.

Yesterday there was a Least Bittern at the so-called small pond across the bay from the marina. I was told by another photog that one has been seen there in previous years but that it does not hang around for long.

It was still there this morning. I got a brief look as it flew into cover.

Still there at 2 - watched it poke along the shore for about 5 minutes. Beautiful little bird.
If V reads this, thanks for pointing me in the right direction...........

The bird is still hanging around the so-called small pond. Seen today at 3pm.
At one point it walked right by me, about 2 feet away, too close for pics!
