Title: Hawks, Moving thru Milton
Post by: Napper on September 16, 2014, 04:52:44 PM
Minutes ago I was relaxing on the deck after supper and noticed a large group of hawks 50 or so, Soaring along at a pretty good clip.

They were traveling West Parallel to Derry Rd, in Milton. Altitude was hard to judge. If i were to guess I would say they were Broad-winged Hawks

re:geese

I was surprised by the large groups of  Geese flying South along the edge of Georgian bay in Tiny Township during the Sept long weekend.
