Title: Jay's Moving out

Yesterday during the afternoon I watched 20 or more Blue Jays as a group struggling to  fly West into the wind.

It was a good year for Jays in Milton, many were around all spring and summer.

I was at Holiday Beach "Hawk Tower" on Monday and we had over 2,500 Blue Jays pass over us through the day.  It was crazy!

We have them year round...

I thought they were gone weeks ago!  Or was that just the Toronto ones?  :wink:

We're talking blue jays...Sammy the Blue Jay...blue jays...mascot for the baseball team ? lol oh now I get Brian's comment lol....

Okay, feathered Blue Jays do migrate. They (and several other species) shift south in the winter. The individuals we see in the winter have come from further north, and our summer birds spend the winter further south.
