Yesterday during the afternoon I watched 20 or more Blue Jays as a group struggling to fly West into the wind.
It was a good year for Jays in Milton, many were around all spring and summer.

I was at Holiday Beach "Hawk Tower" on Monday and we had over 2,500 Blue Jays pass over us through the day. It was crazy!

They migrate ?
We have them year round...

Okay, feathered Blue Jays do migrate. They (and several other species) shift south in the winter. The individuals we see in the winter have come from further north, and our summer birds spend the winter further south.
