Title: Scoters off the Spit

I biked out to Pipit Point this morning, and the only birds in the water were the common gulls. Two separate flocks of scoters flew by; the first were all White-winged, and the second were all Surf Scoters. Each flock contained about a dozen birds flying west to east and very low over the water.
