I visited Col Sam SMith Park today and found it surprisingly productive. There were lots of birds on the move, especially sparrows and Hermit Thrushes. There were a lot of sparrows. I only managed to find 6 species, but I would be very surprised if there weren't more. I found Fox Sparrows in 3 different places and a surprising 11 Chipping Sparrows associating with a large flock of Juncos.
The best bird was an American Wigeon X Mallard hybrid in the pond. Photos are in this post (http://outdoorontario.net/birds/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14860&p=59734#p59734).
