It's not too unusual to find a Muskrat at Col Sam Smith Park, but today I found one sleeping(?) on one of the grebe nesting rafts in the middle of the day. It seemed like an unusually exposed spot.

We had spotted two muskrats on one of the grebes' platforms last week. They were active - diving around the platform and using it as their dining room.
