Title: Clay-colored Sparrow?

Hi

We found this guy in a Walmart Parking Lot.  Is this a Clay-colored Sparrow?

with the streaking and shortish tail it looks like a savannah sparrow to me.

Yes, I agree with Savannah now, I'm not used to seeing them in the fall.
