Title: First Snowy of Winter 2014/2015

Hopefully not the last. A next day return to the same place yielded a big fat zero. :(

Love this flight for sure. Background of golden colour makes this one pop.

I already got 2 big fat ZEROs especially in a 1.5h drive each time. :-<

Thanks Paul. Last year mine were all white on white and was really happy that this one gave me a bit more colour.

Jim - not to worry. They will be quite plentiful shortly. My 2 drives were about 120k each so...

Thanks Howieh - I don't understand your comment.

I think he means that we rarely get to see a shot of the bird's back in flight.  Amazing picture by the way.

Right on! Btw, anything to report from Downsview Park or Col Sam?  and how do you like your SX60?

Very nice shot!
I've never seen an owl give someone the stink-eye before!

Haha. Thanks. I get it now - the back. :)

Thanks John - Now that I have taken a few series of flight shots, it appears to me that they will keep looking at you the whole time.
