Title: Hermit Thrush rescue

Well it was an eventful day today with the rescue of a Hermit Thrush that was stuck in our condo's parking garage.  It had been there for a few days and was looking worse by the day.  One of the security guards brought a net and we successfully trapped it and put it in a box.  

Then I drove it to the Toronto Wildlife Centre where it will be cared for and evaluated.  It's not too late for migration for this species but this particular individual might be a bit weak for such a journey.  In any event, I'm glad it is in good hands now.
