Title: Scoter

This was taken just after sunrise this morning on the Spit - so sadly no helpful light for a clear i.d. shot. I'm wondering if this could be a female Surf Scoter? Or is it simply a White-winged?
Any help much appreciated. - Kris

The straight slope of forehead and bill says Surf Scoter to me.
