Title: Black and White Warbler @ Ashbridges Bay today
Post by: nana on December 23, 2014, 04:37:32 PM
At the furthest west end of ABB this afternoon about 2:45 I watched a very active Black and White Warbler working its way up and down the tree trunks in the little wooded area right beside the rocky shoreline. As it is only about 3 km to Don Roadway and Lakeshore, perhaps it is the same bird that was sighted there  a week or so ago. Chickadees in the same bit of woods, the resident cardinal pair and a few tree sparrows but otherwise very quiet. Various gulls sitting on the crackling ice in the marina and all sorts of ducks including common mergansers. I took some pictures of the warbler.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
