Lots of action down at Lynde Creek today after the busload of children left.

This Barred Owl looked much smaller than the ones I have previously seen down there, has anybody else noticed a significant difference or has anybody seen more than one at a time.  2 or 3 years ago there was at least 2 there, but this is the only one I have seen this year and the first time I have seen it in the sunshine.

Lovely shots. I went there a few times in search of this owl; always came back empty handed.

I saw that Barred Owl in the sun late on Sunday.  He looks quite bored in your shot.  :)

It sure makes it easier to get better pictures when the sky is blue and the sun is shining.

Really great pictures!  Sure beats the photos I took of what is likely the same owl today at Cranberry Marsh.  This fellow seems to enjoy an audience!  It looked like paparazzi around him today.
