Title: Sparrow ID please

I found this sparrow at the Spit today. I think its a savannah sparrow. Anyone agree?

I think it might be something much better! Looks like a Lapland Longspur in winter plumage. You can even see a hint of its black foot and "longspur" - the claw on its back toe. Great find! Wish I'd gone to the Spit today. Was it along the eastern shoreline?   -Kris  :)
