Title: American Kestrels in the Junction
Post by: BC on February 05, 2008, 09:34:47 AM
A pair of American Kestrels have spent the winter near my workplace for a few years now. This morning both were on a favourite perch, a slim, Lego-like tower on Wiltshire, south of Davenport. This is the east Junction and they hunt along the numerous railway tracks.
Other 'out the window' raptors are regular Redtails, an occasional Peregrine (not lately) and, for two days in January, a Cooper's Hawk.
