I did a quick loop through the neighbourhood and there were some interesting things to see.
-flock of common redpolls - on Beechwood Ave right near O'Connor. around 6 of them
-kingfisher (possibly 2) on the Don River. very chatty
-4 female red-breasted mergansers - swimming among the mallards on the Don.
