Has anyone else noticed there seems to be a higher than normal amount of warblers hanging around this winter. Every year there has been 1-2 hanging around in usual spots, water treatment plants/ sewage lagoons etc, but this year there has been a number of reports in a wide selection of areas.
Today while leaving her work, my wife found a dead male Common Yellowthroat on the sidewalk just out side the door...hope it wasn't the guy from Carden who always put on the show along the marsh roadway!
