Someone in Burlington, On. posted this bird on the weather network today.
I think it is a Crested Tit?

Not seen any reports on Ont.birds
I looked at all the "titmice" of North America and it could be a Bridled Titmouse.

I wonder where the pic was taken
My wife thinks it's a Crested Tit

Definitely a Crested Tit, native to Europe. It's generally a non-migrant so I doubt it would cross the Atlantic on its own if the picture is indeed taken in Ontario. I don't know if there are Crested Tits held in captivity.
It's an interesting resemblance between the Bridled Titmouse and the Crested Tit, although they are not so closely related.

Apparently, people did reverse image searches on this picture and found that there is at least 30 versions of this photo including one from 2010. People are saying he stole credit for a photo that wasn't his. I only heard about this from facebook.

Sounds like a logical explanation. Smart idea to claim it was taken in Ontario
