I know that a lot of regional birders make the winter trip to Dyment's Farm on Fallsview Road East in Flamborough so here's an update. Yesterday, late in the day, I had two Lapland Longspurs as well as dozens of Horned Larks and Snow Buntings. Snow cover on the fields seems to have brought the birds close to and right on the roadside. Excellent views and a few photos were obtained of all three species. If you haven't been before, I've added a link for directions. http://dyments.com/market/map-info.aspx
Eastern Bluebirds are also regularly reported along the road but, so far, they've eluded me.
