Title: Longspur (pic), Arctic Gulls - Leslie St. Spit
Post by: Iain on February 10, 2008, 09:29:29 PM
It was a really cold day out at the spit, not very much action at all.  I found a Lapland Longspur feeding along the main road with some American Tree Sparrows and a Juvenile Iceland Gull and two Glaucous Gulls (among herring and ring-billed) south of the red bridge.  One female Kestrel was the only bird of prey I saw.
