Just over a year ago on January 18th, 2014 I saw my first Snowy in Downsview Park. I was hoping to see another one there this year. However, several week-end trips produced nothing until last Saturday. I went there in search of Rough-legged Hawk that Rottaren reported earlier. I found the hawk - there may be two as I saw two flying close to each other. In addition I got to see a Snowy - with light snow coming down and the bird sitting on a snow mound or branch of a tree almost at eye-level was the teat I was waiting for. From time to time a leash free dog would come by and the snowy would move to another location - interestingly always on an elevation close by the circuit road. At the end I left her sitting on the wood chip mound at the north-east corner of the park looking intently to the slopes of the nearby hill. Hope she got a treat too.

The light snow adds to the shot nicely and gives it a good feel, glad you got one this winter.

Cool, thanks for sharing Dinu. Great pics as always. And thank you for the info on where it's been spotted.
