Post by: Andygod on February 17, 2015, 04:34:15 PM
I am having trouble identifying a couple of birds I saw last week in Cuba, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not 100 percent sure

1. Looks like a Cape May Warbler
2. Looks like a Black-throated Blue Warbler but I don't see a wing patch but the colour looks right.
3. Tough to see from head on could be a Laughing Gull
4. It looks like a West Indian or Cuban Whistling Duck

We can see what others think

1,2, & 3 look right. I don't know enough about the ducks down there though.

Agree, the last is a West Indian Whistling Duck
