Title: Presquille Redpolls
Post by: Andygod on February 17, 2015, 05:12:02 PM
I saw a flock of Redpolls at Presquille back on Jan 23 but didn't have time to upload them before I left for Cuba.  Probably 100 or more, first time I had ever seen more than just a couple.  The day was very cold and windy and I was just about to leave when I saw them, of course I had to stick around until I was almost frozen.

A nice set of shots of a beautiful bird. Your last shot looks quite interesting. The bird looks paler than usual.

Yes, last one looks like a good candidate for a Hoary. Unfortunately there's a twig preventing a clear view of the rump.
