I went to the Sheldon Creek Trail in Burlington before work this morning. There was nobody when I was walking on the trail. After 10 minutes of searching and saw some house sparrows, tree sparrows and juncos were feeding on the ground. So, I stopped walking and about 15 minutes later the Harris's sparrow was popping out from the pine tree and foraging on the ground. Here are the photos for sharing.

Very nice Wanchan - I have to make the trek there one of these days. Hope the bird stays there long enough.

Love the look of the top of the head pattern, very cool.

It looks like a metal net texture hat.

Thanks, Dinusaur. I do believe he still around.

The Harris's Sparrow is still there today March 9th. I am glad I picked the best day we've had in a long long time to go and see it. I had to wait an hour before it turned up but the weather was stellar and there was plenty of other activity while I waited. It's probably a good idea to bring bird seed with you if you go to see it.

Good to hear that he still around.
